Keeping him in mind

I know, I know, it's been a long time and if I get another review soon, that will be something to critique, but well, life is life.
I start midterms next week and of course, I'm not too thrilled about them nor am I prepared.
I spoke to my advisor today, and she told me I'm right on track to graduate this spring as long as I get my minor decleration taken care of. So I will search the sea and the sun for fucking Cano and make his ass give me the god damn form.
Monday was the one year anniversary of my dad's passing. I had a Whataburger in his name. Also, as Linda, Carmen, Lalis, some workstudies and I were sitting in the break room sealing Gala invitations when the topic of the Astros was brought up.
"They're gonna choke," was what Lalis and Linda said.
"I really hope they win," said Carmen.
"You'll see they'll win. My dad's gonna help them," I said.
The next morning as I was getting my crap together to head out for school Rod Ryan was talking about how the Astros had made it into the next stage of the playoffs. All I could do was giggle to myself knowing that I was sharing that joy with my Dad.
You're always on my mind Dad.
